First day in South Africa

We arrived in sunny Cape Town after a pretty pain free journey from London via Johannesburg. Customs was easy, another stamp for the passport, and we got picked up by the B and B.

We're staying at BIG backpackers in Green Point. It was reccomended in the telegraph travel and and won best hostel in Africa several years over. 

We settled into our lovely room with a sea view, I unpacked, stephen faffed and eventually we decided to wander down to the waterfront to explore.

We were greeted with gorgeous views of table mountain and wall to wall blue skies. We had a nice wander, grabbed a quick bite, then headed back to the hotel to join a few other guests to climb signal hill at sunset. 

Although given the slow uber journey, we kinda missed sunset.. however we still were greeted with spectacular views of lions head and table mountain.

Then it was a quick bite at the ever so trendy Kloof street houses followed by a much needed early night. Overall a fantastic first day!
