Gap Yah Adventures Part 1: South Africa and Namibia

So, here goes! I've quit my training programme, done all the locums to save to cash and I'm off on my year of adventures. First stop South Africa and Namibia. 

Cape Town is a place so many friends have raved about. City of the mountains, surf, hipster culture and all the wines. Sounds pretty ideal. I've wanted to go for ages and was suppose to take my elective here whilst at medical school and now the time has finally come!

Namibia on the other hand has been a long standing dream to visit. Somewhere visually and culturally different from anywhere I've been before. Time to crack out the new SLR. 

I'm very lucky to have a new partner in crime jointing for smuz adventures gap yah series. My wondering man Stevie. He basically couldn't live without me being away for 3 whole weeks so has decided to tag along. I'll try to keep the soppy mountain pics to a minimum. Here goes!
